A moment of dejavu.... Gunning to close as the best of the season, it looks like a repeat of last season at this point between Mt Hope and J.FC. With two games to go a narrow 3point lead byJFC is all there is to fight for. To stop a repeat where Mt Hope got the drop and stole the league from under JFC's legs by just 1 point, the boys in red must remain consistent and not lose sight of the goal. The focus looks more rivetted this time though, with all guns peaking at the right time, the sharp shooting Kuda Mukosi seems to have gone into top gear, with the always top goalscoring pastor Farai Bosha and fellow strikers the powerful Tawanda Doka T1, the young and hungry Brian Muganda all seeming to have found an extra vein the coaches have a tough time choosing who to start. The clever forward wingers led by this year's assist king, teenager Tanatswa Manguweni, the consistent Nicolas Shoniwa (Junior), the deft Nathan Hlatshwayo and swift Mady Mahomed all seem to want to win now more than ever. They are depending a lot on the experience of the solid and creative midfielders achored by strongman Benard Chipanera, and the young and sprigh Munyaradzi Mshanga....with depth in the creative feet of the find of the season Thomas March it has become a war zone in the middle of the park, not negating the clever one, dribbling player coach Raphael Mamombe Tsuro, plus ever running Dumisani Nyuke, hardworking Takudzwa Madziyire, Solomon Butawu, liberal Pike Madyambudzi, the coaches surely have big selection headaches and who knows the bundle of creative energy known as John Tarunga might regain match fitness to come back and terrorise teams in that midfield in these last games.
Let's see how it goes as the team relies on their defenders led by cool Captain Carlton Nyamubarwa, Washington Bveke, the robust Prichard Machemedze, incredible Thandanani Pede, plus hard ball masters Donald Yohane and Keith Yohane. With such shot stoppers as eagle eye Privilege Chitemerere, collected Sergio Zhakata the fearless pastor Masawi and the goalkeeping striker Farai Bosha to choose from, it is coming to a head and it is apprehensively exciting.
