There are days when it is easier to just get a win and play for just the fun of it, this was not the day, there are days when 4 goals are enough and the hunger stops, I assure you, this........ was not such a day.

What does it take to sate a savage beast? How much should a ravenous beast be allowed to eat before it can be caged. The jury seems to be still out and verdict is yet to be given because, there was a massacre over in the 25th game of the season. It seemed as if the Bishop calling shots from the dug out forgot to put the restraints on his charges.

The rout was utter and complete before the unaware City Saints figured out what was happening. With the league still open, 2 games left to play it is a time for both panic and intense concentration for JFC, and it so happened that City Saints came to play against JFC at a time when every pass, every movement and every play matters in the race with the HCSL hanging in the balance. From the first whistle there was an instant attack at goal, wave after wave of articulate but forceful attack harrassed the Saints defenses. It was not long before they succumbed to a 5 goal deficit because 15 minutes is all it took. Benard Chipanera and Thomas March smelt blood early on and orchestrated defense splitting passes and timely run which triggerred reciprocal performance from the rest of the pack, it was a spectacular display of attacking football. The effective high pressing, the incessant move to attack the goal caught City Saints unprepared and they regrettably paid a high price. It was very unfortunate to have happened to the nicest and talented team, the score line does not reflect the level of play which City Saints puts up in ever match they play, they are a really strong opponent with enough arsenal to knock down any team, on this day however, tactically as well as technically things were just working well for team JCC fc and they were helpless to stop it. The second half saw City saints put up a galant fight with some great flowing football getting close to scoring a couple of times but, again after the 4 substitutes who came on for JFC settled into the game, the skillful Raphael Mamombe connected with the relentless Thomas March and dribbled their way back to supply the attackers for another barrage of goals. So as it stood at the end of the match JCC fc 26 and City Saint 0.
